Scoop is Enterprise House Business Centre's very own in-house journalist. Beware, Scoop is sniffing around for any stories to post here. You have been warned!
Marra at Tibshelf Angling Centre has been busy over the last few weeks, making his showroom a more desirable place to visit. A suspended ceiling was put in just before Christmas and the room has now been re-designed, with the counter re-sited and a new office created. Marra has also put down some new, green carpet tiles to complete the look. Photos to follow soon.
Moss IT have also had a new suspended ceiling put in which has improved the look of their office and will also reduce energy consumption. Incidentally, Andy from Moss IT will be attempting to show Abby how to use some fancy bulk-emailing software tomorrow. Scoop wishes Andy the best of luck as Abby hails from Norfolk and they've only recently had electricity installed there!
Exclusive: Enterprise House Business is now registered as a member of UK online centres. This will allow people to go on the Internet free of charge at EHBC. The scheme is a government initiative to allow more people to gain access to the Internet.
So, here it is, the first blog on the Enterprise House Business Centre website! Thanks for dropping by.
We'll be posting regular blogs to tell you what's happening here at EHBC in sunny Tibshelf. We have a number of tenants in residence and we plan to bring you all the news and gossip about what they're doing.
We'll start with a few words about the people involved:
Mark, Nick & Will Johnson own and manage the site, ably assisted by Abby.
Our first tenant was Mark Marriott who runs Tibshelf Angling Centre. Marra likes to dangle his rod at the weekend. He's also a keen angler!
R&A Logistics took tenancy of the first office following renovation of the site. 'R' is Richard (the only male member of a four-person team - poor guy) and he regularly sends jokes to Nick via text which are generally too filthy to repeat here! If he ever sends any good, clean ones, I'll post them here. Richard 'works' alongside Ann, Clare and Leanne, not forgetting Monty the Yorkshire Terrier.
The Caring Hands team are based next door to R&A. The chief, Elizabeth (known only to Mark as Betty), is joined by Sarah and Dianne.
Then there's the arty types: Degas Studio and Tibshelf Music Centre. Lyn from Degas (pronounced Day-gar) teaches the good people of Tibshelf and the surrounding areas how to dance while Theresa of Tibshelf Music Centre, would you believe, teaches music.
Steve is the man of mystery from Total Care Communications, who is rarely spotted at EHBC.
The latest tenants are Moss IT. We don't know much about them yet, other than the fact that Chris Moss is the gaffer, so we'll return to them at a later date.
That's all for the time being - keep coming back to find out what's happening.
